The Jeeptropha debuts at the Loyalty Day celebration
One of the highlights of yesterdays alumni homecoming and Loyalty Day celebrations was the Jeeptropha – the jeep running on 10% jatropha diesel mix produced by the UPLB Alternative Energy Program.
The Alternative Energy Program leads in the research for biofuels in response to the Biofuels Act of 2006.
Most of you are familiar with these vehicles moving around campus.
And I think this jeepney seems to be around since forever…
Now it’s running on biodiesel!
