Taking the trolley
One of the things not to be missed when staying here in Los Banos is the trolley ride that goes from IRRI to Crossing in San Antonio. It’s an entirely different view of Los Banos, much like visiting Bayan. So last week, my friends and had the chance to take trolley. I’ve taken the trolley so many years ago I’ve already forgotten how to ride in one. It sure beats traffic and the waiting for the jeepney that leaves IRRI! There are many sights to see. The railroad track passes through Molawin creek, so it seems like passing through the hanging bridge for a while. So many houses line up the tracks, people seating on the rails can be seen, dogs crossing, a man caressing his manok pangsabong watches us as we pass by, sari-sari stores…

That hanging bridge’s the closest new freshies will get to crossing the now RIP hanging bridge.
Sad.
