i am batch 2002. tulad ng karamihan, pasaway din, kaya hindi pa makagraduate...Ü

i stay in a dorm in forestry, MAREHA, and i cant think of any words suited to describe the pictures of devastation in forestry after milenyo. Lupet talaga! Daming tumbang poste ng kuryente. ayun, nung isang linggo lang nakabalik ang ilaw. dami din natumbang puno syempre pa. sobrang kakalungkot tlaga. ang masaya lang, daming libreng rambutan. pinamigay na kasi nung mga may-ari.

until now, sinusulat ko to, wala pa din kame tubig sa dorm. nanglilimos kame ng pampaligo sa katabing dorms.Ü

Sa tingin ko ito na ang pinakamalupit na bagyong tumama sa UPLB. Hindi ko pa nakita ang campus na parang katatapos lang dumaan sa isang digmaan (parang World War 2 fotos!). Ilang taon na naman bago makitang maramaing sanga at malago ang mga dahon ng mga punongkahoy sa campus. Tsk tsk tsk… malungkot!

ang lakas talaga ng bagyo.. but cheer up guys ok na ngayon narestore na ang power and nalinis na rin ang campus.. yun nga lang di na naibalik ang mga puno..:D what’s weird is kung bakit nakatayo pa rin yung dao tree.. kala ko ba delikado na yun.

i heard from the news how the Milenyo slashed the beauty of our beloved Alma mater UPLB…taking lives along with it. i’m currently located here in mindanao, so habang naghahasik ng lagim si Milenyo sa Luzon, we have no clue that it was worse than we thought. all we have here was fog and winds..how sad am i when i saw these pictures. thanks for sharing. JC
